Join us for the 2026 Healthy Harvest 5K, a community event celebrating health, wellness, and giving back. Whether you run, walk, or cheer on participants, you'll be part of a fun-filled morning that brings neighbors, families, and local businesses together in support of healthier communities. All ages and abilities are welcome, making this an event everyone can enjoy. Register today and help us take strides toward a healthier tomorrow!
Lace up your running shoes and join us for the 2026 Heywood Healthy Harvest 5K - family-friendly fun run or walk scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026.
HH5K continues to be a fun and meaningful event that brings our community together in celebration of health, wellness, and giving back.
Whether you're running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, your participation helps make a positive impact while supporting healthier lives throughout our community. Gather your family, friends, and coworkers, and be part of a day filled with fitness, fun, and community spirit. We can't wait to see you at the starting line!
You can choose to RUN or WALK. Once again, our runners will be self-timed & supported by our high visibility clock.
AWARDS: Overall Top 3 Male and Female race finishers will be crowned.
Adult Rate: $25
Youth Registration offers reduced fees: $15 for ages 7 - 18 years old & children under 6 are FREE.
Event Timeline
- Registration Opens by 7:45am
- Kick-off Celebration at 8:50am
- Feet Hit Pavement immediately following the ceremony at 9:00am
- Timed runner awards at 10:00am
- Resource Fair is open 8am - 11am
- Visit tables hosted by local organizations to learn more about services and enjoy the fun table encounters!
ROUTE: Come crush or stroll our 3.1 mile scenic course beginning and ending at Heywood Hospital's Gardner campus. Our route takes participants along a wooded walking trail to a half way turnaround point past the end of Crystal Lake

Participant Gift Deadline — October 3 at 12:00 p.m. Noon
To guarantee your preferred gift size, please register by October 3 at 12:00 p.m. noon.
Registrants after October 3 & day-of-event may select their gift at registration, based on remaining availability. Preferred sizes are not guaranteed.
Online Registration Closes — October 22 at 12:00 p.m. Noon
Day-of-event registration will also be available in person.
